Today was the first day of shelter in place for 7 million people in Northern California, and soon much of the country will be holing up too, voluntarily or not. For many, the transition to working from home has been challenging to say the least. Most people aren’t set up to work from home, and even if they are, they are not likely to be used to managing all the other details that go along with it this time. The kids are home, the dog is barking, Slack is burning up with all the news about the economy and pandemic, and the normal rhythm just doesn’t feel right.
All of that can lead to not being able to focus and getting little to nothing done, frustration, irritability, and a slight tinge of desperation may have already set in.
So, what are we gonna do about this?
I’m offering a free online event on Friday at 12 noon, P.T. to help. We’ll come together to talk about best practices to managing stress, tools and techniques for working effectively from home, and communicating with your team, your family, and maybe even yourself.
You’ll also get a downloadable e-book with my best tools and tips for working through the next few weeks without going stir crazy! Sign Up today!
